What is watermark adder?
A watermark adder overlays your handle, name or logo onto an image so it stays attributed when the image is reposted. APImage's version runs in the browser and supports both a single corner mark and a tiled diagonal pattern, with control over opacity, size, rotation and position, plus a logo upload for image marks.
Does a watermark stop people stealing my content?
It does not prevent copying, and a corner mark can be cropped off in seconds. What it does is keep attribution attached when content is reshared honestly, which is most of the time. A tiled low-opacity pattern is harder to remove but also harder to look at.
Where should the watermark go?
Not the bottom right on vertical video, because that is where every platform puts its own interface. On a still, a corner with low visual detail works best. On something you expect to be reposted, tiled at low opacity across the middle is the only version that survives a crop.
Can I remove a watermark with this tool?
No, this only adds them. Removing a watermark from an image you own is what the AI watermark remover is for. Removing one from someone else's image to reuse it is copyright infringement, and that is not a use we will help with.
