Start from the flat artwork
Upload the design itself at full resolution. Upscale it first if it came out of a generator at a low size, because print detail does not survive a soft source.

What is print on demand mockups?
Print on demand mockups are the product images a POD seller lists with, showing a design applied to a garment or object. APImage goes beyond the flat template mockup: it places the design on a person or in a room as a photographic scene, and generates short video of the same product, which is what separates a listing that converts from one that looks like every other automated store.
Can I sell products with AI generated mockup images?
Yes, and marketplaces treat mockups as marketing imagery rather than a guarantee of the exact print. Keep the design in the mockup identical to the file you upload for printing, and do not imply a garment quality or fit that the supplier does not deliver.
Does the design stay accurate on the garment?
Check every output. Fine linework and small text are what warp when a design is placed onto fabric folds. Simpler, bolder designs survive the process better, which happens to be true of print quality as well.
Can I use AI generated artwork as the design itself?
That depends on the marketplace, not on APImage. Some POD platforms restrict or require disclosure of AI generated designs, and copyright in purely generated artwork is limited in several jurisdictions. Check the specific platform's policy before listing at scale.
How many mockups does a listing need?
One clean product shot, two lifestyle scenes, one scale or detail shot, and a video if the platform allows it. Beyond that you are decorating rather than answering buyer questions.
