a flat template mockup

Every POD store uses the same generator, so every listing looks the same. Put the design on a person, in a room, in a moving clip, and the listing stops blending in.

Apparel, homeware, wall art. Stills and 9:16 video.

What is print on demand mockups?

Print on demand mockups are the product images a POD seller lists with, showing a design applied to a garment or object. APImage goes beyond the flat template mockup: it places the design on a person or in a room as a photographic scene, and generates short video of the same product, which is what separates a listing that converts from one that looks like every other automated store.

Real scenes

Not templates

A person wearing it in a place, rather than a garment floating on grey.

Whole catalogue

Same look

Consistent styling across hundreds of designs, which is what makes a POD store read as a brand.

Video too

For social

The moving version, for the Reels and TikToks that actually drive POD traffic.

Who this is for

  • POD sellers competing on identical template mockups
  • Designers with a catalogue and no photography budget
  • Anyone whose Etsy or Amazon Merch listings are getting impressions but no clicks

How to do it

Four steps, in the order that actually works.

  1. 01

    Start from the flat artwork

Upload the design itself at full resolution. Upscale it first if it came out of a generator at a low size, because print detail does not survive a soft source.

  2. 02

Put it on a person or in a place

Apparel on a model, a mug on a desk with morning light, a print on a wall above a sofa. The scene is what sells the design.

  3. 03

    Keep the styling consistent

Same model, same room, same light across the catalogue. Save them once and reuse, so 200 listings look deliberate.

  4. 04

    Generate the social cut

A vertical clip per design for the platforms where POD stores actually get discovered.

Tools you will use

Every one of these is also a REST endpoint and an MCP tool.
